Just the two of us... well three with Ollie

vw camper hire aldeburgh

Well we headed up to Aldeburgh as the wetaher had turned nice again. This time we left Leo with the Grandparents for the night.

Great campsite in Church farm caravan park. Nice facilities, heated bathroom floors!! Easy walk into town as we were right on the beach (a skip across the road) and a stroll into town along the beach.

Fish and chips were unbelievable (best I've found outside of Sea Houses in the North East - although that was thirty years ago!!).

Good Southwold Ale in the pub and after the sun went down a very enjoyable DVD - Clint Eastwood's latest 'Trouble with the Curve'.

Woke up to a lovely Bacon sandwhich and a read of the paper (something we haven't done for a while with the little nipper running about).

Made a lovely cappucino in the Bialetti, with a few chunks of toblerone, looking over the beach, before picking up some gorgeous smoked prawns from one of the beach smokehouses to enjoy with fresh bread and freshly made cajun mayo went we returned home.

All in all great night away.
